Ernesto Rivero

Attorney

Ernesto Rivero is a trial attorney at The Gutierrez Firm, where he represents individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries or losses due to the negligence of others. His practice covers all areas of personal injury litigation, including slip and fall accidents, negligent security, motor vehicle crashes, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury cases throughout South Florida.

Before joining The Gutierrez Firm, Ernesto worked at one of the nation’s largest plaintiff personal injury firms, where he gained extensive experience handling complex injury claims from intake through trial. Earlier in his career, he served as a civil defense attorney at a prominent Florida defense firm—experience that gives him valuable insight into how insurance carriers and corporate defendants operate. He now uses that perspective to build stronger cases and anticipate defense strategies on behalf of his clients.

Born and raised in Miami, Ernesto brings a personal and compassionate approach to every case. He understands that behind each file is a real person whose life has been disrupted, and he is dedicated to helping his clients rebuild and obtain the justice they deserve.

Ernesto is a proud graduate of Christopher Columbus High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University, where he was a Torchbearer recipient and Seminole Scholar, and received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law.
